New Moose Milers Bill Borla and Jerry LeVasseur traveled to the National Masters Outdoor Track Championships in Decatur, Illinois on August 5-8 and made it worth their while as they won 4 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, and 1 Bronze Medal.

Borla and LeVasseur both won 2 golds respectively in the 4x400 and 4x800 Meter Relays running for the Eastern Region Team. Borla grabbed silver medals in the 60-64 5000 and 10000 Meters, while LeVasseur grabbed silvers in the 65-69 5000 and 1000 Meters. LeVasseur also took home a bronze in the 65-69 2000 Meter Steeplechase.

If Borla and LeVasseur competed under the Moose Milers banner at the championships, they would have taken 2nd plave in the 60-69 division all by themselves.
