Bill Borla sprinted to the finish line for a 1-second victory at the USATF National Masters 5K Cross Country Championships in Saratoga Springs, NY on October 15, 2006. Bill's victory was his 5th in the past 6 USATF National Masters 5K Cross Country Championship, with his only non-win being last year, when he was unable to compete due to a family obligation.

Bill led the PR Moose Milers Racing Team Vets to the Bronze medals, with Rick Stetson, Peter Szawlowski, John Pelton, and Jerry Levasseur backing him up.

We had 4 other runners take part in the M40+ and Male 50+ events with Reno Stirrat running strong to a 7th place finish in the M50+ division. Plus Carol Kane took 2nd in the Female 60+ division.
