The PR Moose Milers Racing Team capped the 2006 USATF New England Gran Prix by taking the overall championship with 293 points. The Whirlaway Racing Team and the Merrimack Valley Striders rounded out the top three with 271 and 254 points respectively.

The PR Moose Milers championship is the first time in USATF England Gran Prix history that the overall championship was not won by either the Central Mass Striders or the Greater Lowell Road Runners.

The PRMM Male 50+ team also had a great year, winning their division by a 55-51 margin over the Greater Lowell Road Runners, led by individual 50+ and overall champion Reno Stirrat. Reno scored an amazing 64 out of a possible 70 points --- more than any other runner in any division in the Gran Prix. The Male 60+ team missed defending their title by 1 point as the Greater Springfield Harriers nipped the Vets in the final race, the Cape Cod Marathon.

Reno Stirrat was the only PR Moose Miler to run all seven races to earn IronRunner status.
