The Moose Milers & Marathoners women split into 2 teams to compete at the Providence (RI) Half Marathon with great results. The Moose Milers Maidens (Jennifer Bogan, Jennifer Crook, Madalena Boudreau, and Laura Trull) took 2nd overall and $750 cash. The Moose Milers Women (Tara Cardi, Susan Kenney, Elizabeth McDonough, Deirdre Bird, and Wendi Sylvia) finished 3rd overall to win $250. Individually, our women placed 3 in the top 10 and 7 in the top 25 overall. Turnout on the men's side was a little weak, but Patrick Kanold, David Pember, and Fred Zuleger still managed to take 6th place. Unfortunately, their 4th and 5th runners didn't make it to the starting line. |
