Moose Milers Vets 3 For 3 In USATF NE Gran Prix

The Moose Milers & Marathoners Male Veterans Team is on a roll. After finishing off last season as the fastest team in both the USATF National Masters 5K and 8K Championships, they have won all three USATF New England Championships so far in 2005!

Jack Thornhill, the 2003 USATf NE 5K Champion, led the Vets with a 2nd place finish in 19:26. He was followed by Eddie Fromm (making his Moose Miler debut) in 20:24; and then Jim Logan Harry Carter, and Bill Spencer in 20:46, 20:50, and 20:55. All five finished in the top ten to score points in the individual Gran Prix scoring.

Madalena Boudreau, Deirdre Bird, and Penny Catalano teamed up to take 4th place in the Female Masters division with Boudreau and Bird scoring 5 and 4 individual points in their divisions.
