Moose Milers & Marathoners Take
4 Gold & 2 Silver at Mount Kearsarge

18 Moose Milers & Marathoners tackled the Mount Kearsarge (8.5 Mile) Hill Run on May 22, 2005 and were rewarded with 4 Gold and 2 Silvers in the team competition --- good enough to dominate the team competition in race #1 of the USATF New England Mountain Running Series.

Ann Rasmussen led the Moose Milers Female Open and Masters teams by finishing 2nd overall in a new MMM team record of 1:12:19. Greg Colburn led the men in 5th place with a 56:24 finish.

The Male Seniors, Male Veterans, Female Open, and Female Masters all took first place, while the Male Open and Male Masters teams finished 2nd in their divisions.

Next up for the MMM Mountain Running Team are the Wachusett Mountain 4.3 Miler on May 28 and the Pack Monadnock 10 Miler on June 5. USATF numbers are required to score in the series, so if you plan on making your mountain running debut at one of these races, be sure and let the Racing Team Manager know.
