The PR Moose Milers Racing Team once again showed why we are one of New England's top racing teams as we ran to 2nd best overall at the 2006 Boston Marathon (if scored by USATF NE Gran Prix standards). Our teams were led by the Male Masters Team which finished 4th out of 75 teams; our Male Open Team which finished 5h out of 60 teams, and our Female Masters Team which finished 6th out of 41 teams. Our Female Open Team rounded out our scoring by finishing 11th out of 44 teams. Only the Whirlaway Racing Team, which put their four teams ahead of our 4 teams, would have finished ahead of us if the race was scored by USATF NE Gran Prix scoring. Scott Loomis was our top overall finisher, taking 41st with a time of 2:28:48 --- a new PR Moose Milers Team Record. Bonnie Ritchotte led out ladies by finishing in 121st place with a time of 3:10:25. Dave Herr ran 2:34:54 to finish as 4th overall master. |
