Moose Milers Vets 2 For 2 In USATF NE Gran Prix

The Moose Milers & Marathoners Male Veterans Team is on a roll. After finishing off last season as the fastest team in both the USATF National Masters 5K and 8K Championships, they have won both USATF New England Championships so far in 2005!

Even without defending New England 12K Champion Stan Dutton, the Vets Team defeated a strong Central Mass Striders team by over 7 minutes to extend their lead in the 2005 USATF NE Gran Prix to 5 points. Jim Logan, Bill Spencer, and Robert Knight led the way for the team.

If our next 3 vets (Steve Moland, Fred Zuleger, and Lee Slocum) were scored as their own team, they would have taken 5th place out of 9 teams. The Vets also scored down to cover the Male Seniors division, and Logan even scored down for the Masters and Open teams.

Maggie Ramos and Jayne Tallarico bookend a non Moose Miler as they push for the Finish Line!

Maggie Ramos and Jayne Tallarico teamed up with Andrea Pierce and Penny Catalano to take 5th in the Female Masters division, as well as scoring down to take 7th in the Female Open division.
