Moose Milers Sweep GBTC in Acushnet

The Moose Milers & Marathoners returned to the scene of our first ever team race - the Acushnet 4 Miler in Acushnet, MA - on September 6, 2004 trying to get a monkey off our back. For the past two years, the Greater Boston Track Club has narrowly beaten our Men's team, while our Women's team returned the favor.
The third time was the charm, as both our teams dominated the race and went home with the $300 top prize. Jason Eddy led the way with his 2nd win in three years, while Joann Mathews was finally dethroned - finishing 2nd after 2 straight wins. Mathews, despite the narrow 2 second loss, ran a personal best by more than 30 seconds.
