Coach Coleman Carden

October-November 2004 Workouts
January - February 2004 Workouts
November - December 2003 Workouts
Coley Carden joins the Moose Milers and Marathoners as our first coach. He is a USATF Level I Certified Coach who has been running for thirteen years and will be entering his fourth year as a coach this Fall.
For the last year he has been the head coach at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, MA. As a first year coach, he reinvigorated a long dormant program, coaching the boy's team to its first winning season since 1989 and coaching the girls to twice as many wins in 2002 as the prior three seasons combined; this despite having only 4 girls on the team. For his turnaround of the boy's team, his fellow coaches voted Carden as Eastern Independent League Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year. He also coached two League All-Stars and the first two runners from Beaver to earn All-New England Preparatory School Track Association honors in Cross Country.
Before arriving at Beaver, Carden served as an assistant coach at his alma mater East Hampton (CT) High School. There he worked with numerous State and Conference champions, All-State and All-Conference runners, and Conference Championship teams.
As a student at East Hampton, he captained four conference championship teams in Cross Country and Track and captained the 1992 Class S State Championship Cross Country Team. He is a 1998 graduate of Bentley College where he was an All-Northeast 10 Cross Country runner and a member of two Northeast 10 Conference Championship Cross Country teams.
All Moose Milers & Marathoners are asked to fill out the Coaches Questionaire and send it to Coley so he can better design the workouts for our team and so that he can more easily answer our training and racing questions.
